Our Ministries
At Journey Church, our ministries are all about doing life and faith together. They’re practical spaces where people grow in Jesus, build real relationships, and step out to serve others. Every ministry is an opportunity to get involved, use your gifts, and make a meaningful impact in our church and community.
Journey Kids provides a safe place for children to encounter the love and power of God while learning about the amazing-ness of the Bible. We love to see the kids experience a sense of belonging, build lifelong friendships and have lots of fun!
Our Journey Kids programs run during our morning services, accommodating children aged 2-years old to Grade 6.
All our Kids leaders are 18+ years old, have current Blue Cards, and have gone through an interview process. They have all completed a Child Safety training course. A number of our leaders are trained in First Aid and CPR.
We also have Junior Leaders that are high-school aged students that assist with our program.

We see empowered YTH, unashamed of the gospel, that are ready to change the youth culture of our region. We are YTH that are set free from anything that would seek to hold them back. We see YTH that are close to God and desire for others to be too.
All our YTH leaders are 18+ years old, have current Blue Cards, and have gone through an interview process. They have all completed a Child Safety training course. A number of our leaders are trained in First Aid and CPR.
We invite high-school aged youth (grade 7-12) to our weekly Friday night program and fortnightly connect groups during the school terms. Check out our socials to keep up to date!

Our Young Adults ministry is a space for 18–30s to belong, grow, and do life together. We seek to be a growing community of young adults living transformed and set apart lives in worship of God.
There are many opportunities for you to connect in community through our fortnightly Sunday socials, worship nights, and fortnightly Connect Groups. Follow us on Instagram for all the details @journey__ya

Our Young Families ministry is a place where parents, primary-aged kids, and carers can feel at home. We know this season of life is full—full of joy, questions, nappies, noise, and not much sleep—and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
We’re all about building community, supporting one another, and growing in faith together as families. Whether you’re brand new to church or have been around for a while, you’ll find a relaxed, welcoming environment where kids are valued, parents are encouraged, and Jesus is at the centre.
